It was also nominated for the BAFTA Award for Best Animated Film at the 61st British Academy Film Awards. It was the final film in the Shrek franchise to be produced by Pacific Data Images before its closure in 2015.[4] The film grossed $799 million on a $160 million budget, becoming the fourth highest-grossing film of 2007. A sequel, titled Shrek Forever After was released in 2010.
